Haus at Club Eight made its debut in March to a small response though the event was headlined by New York City Queen Sherry Vine.  Click here to read about the event.

For the 2nd edition of Haus, The Boys called upon the self proclaimed “Plus-Sized super model” Mercedez Munro to host the event Sunday, May 9th. Club Eight’s Sunday T-Dance packed an entertainment roster headlined by Munro with supporting performances by Miss Rahni and mother of the Haus of Coxxx, Ana Mae Coxxx with the DJ styling of Guy Ruben Macias and fresh from his tour of Asia, DJ Jay Santos.

From 6pm-9pm, DJ Guy Ruben kept the small, intimate crowd on their feet and moving to his dance mixes of hip-hop and pop songs.  Following Ruben’s set, DJ Jay Santos took to the turn tables and mixed in some high energy vocal anthems with his circuit beats.

Looking fabulous in glittered boots, and a see-thru blue sequence top, Munro took the stage welcoming everyone to Haus. Getting the crowd pumped-up, Munro introduced the first performer of the night, “the amazing, talented beauty Ana Mae Coxxx.”

Looking sophisticated and ready to seduce in a sexy black dress, Coxx delivered a classy performance to Dollhouse by Priscilla Renea. As Coxxx descended the stage, Munro yelled that Coxxx’s performance was “fantastic” while the crowd agreed with roaring cheers and applause.

The next performer was one of Munro’s “favorite skinny girls” the fierce Miss Rahni. True to form, Rahni always packs a performance with a surprise. Rahni spun, danced, pranced and gave attitude – not to mention a hair change – during her performance. The performance began with Rahni sporting a short, sleek and sassy hair style that oozed Mary J. Blige attitude but by the end of the performance, Rahni was wearing her signature long, flowy blackish-brown locks. All eyes were on Rahni and whichever mouths had not dropped in awe, were singing along as Kylie Minogue’s In My Arms played over head.

After being introduced by Rahni, Munro took the stage to Crystal Waters’ Momma Told Me which was very appropriate with the occasion being Mother’s Day. The veteran performer knows how to tease the boys and the boys ate it up. From beginning to end, money poured in from the crowd. I believe Munro spent more time accepting tips and thanking the sexy crowd than actually singing the words. Following her performance, Munro jokingly said, “That was cardio for a week girl.” The entire crowd laughed and applauded.
